1 Kings 13:5-7

⁵ The altar also was torn to pieces and the ^[a]ashes were poured out from the altar, in accordance with the ^[b]sign which the man of God had given by the word of the Lord. ⁶ And the king responded and said to the man of God, “Please ^[c](A)appease the Lord your God and pray for me, so that my hand may be restored to me.” So ^(B)the man of God ^[d]appeased the Lord, and the king’s hand was restored to him, and it became as it was before. ⁷ Then the king said to the man of God, “Come home with me and refresh yourself, and ^(C)I will give you a gift.”
